People

The United States is the third-largest country by population. It is home for people from many different origins and cultures. Six races are officially recognized by the U.S Census Bureau: white american, black american, asian, american indian, hawaiian and people of two or more races. About 74% of the population is white people and people of European descent. That is mainly because Europeans were the first people (after the native people) to start inhabiting the United States. The second biggest prosent of the population is African Americans. African Americans have a pretty bare history in the United States because they were first brought to America as slaves. Nowadays they are treaten much better and even the president is African American. Biggest part of the population after white and black americans are asians and some other races.
